This is one of the stranger lawsuits we've seen in a minute. A fan of Kendrick Lamar, Whitney Larkin, has filed a lawsuit against the rapper after she was banned from the VIP meet & greet. Larkin filed the suit herself-- no lawyer necessary.
As the report goes, Larkin says she e-mailed one of Kendrick's managers, Dave Free, in the hopes of spending some one-on-one time with K. Dot. She asked for three minutes with the rapper, in addition to having already purchased a VIP meet and greet package, worth $350. Larkin claims that Free told her she could get three minutes of Kendrick's time, as long as she compensated Free with a "cash payment of $10,000."
The amount didn't deter her, instead she went digging for more information from Lamar's team members. This was enough to get someone on the team angry, apparently, because the day before the concert she received an e-mail saying she was banned, and her $350 would be refunded.
Larkin doesn't blame Kendrick, going on to call him "one of the greatest rappers alive of all time who is on par with Tupac" in the lawsuit. However she says Free crushed her dreams and now she's left with a "deep sadness." She calls Free an"arrogant, snotty and an all-around bad dude from the rooter to the tooter!"
She's looking for $1 million for all her troubles.
