Gucci Mane & V-Nasty's "BAYTL" Sells 4,449 Copies First Week

Gucci Mane and V-Nasty's mixtape, BAYTL, saw weak sales in the first week, with the questionable album selling 4,449 units.


The pairing came as a surprise, with the controversial White Girl Mob member joining forces with the ice-cream loving Gucci Mane. The album gained recognition when V-Nasty claimed she was "more hood than David Banner," but music critics weren't buying her street cred.

The pairing came as a surprise, with the controversial White Girl Mob member joining forces with the ice-cream loving Gucci Mane. The album gained recognition when V-Nasty claimed she was "more hood than David Banner," but music critics weren't buying her street cred. 

XXL gave Gucci credit for his ubiquitous beats featuring "rowdy synth, drum and keyboard sound," but added that "the lyrical collaboration with V-Nasty is a below par, even for the ATL trap star."

Allhiphop.com also weighed in, saying "It's unfortunate that Gucci Mane chooses this album to actually improve his flow and his bars, because the N-word toting V-Nasty is by far the weak link, and her weaknesses easily outweigh Gucci's rap improvements and upgrades."
