It appears Chris Brown’s upcoming Australian & New Zealand tour dates have been cancelled for next month. According to Billboard, a tour promoter confirmed the news announcing canceled shows in Melbourne, Sydney, Perth, and Brisbane on Tuesday.
However, it’s not because of his past issues with the Australia, which included allegations that he was denied entrance into the country due to his history of domestic violence, as the promoter announced on Tuesday that they’re positive the tour will go back on in the near future.
"Mr Brown and the promoters both remain positive that the tour will take place in the near future," a statement from the promoter said. "Mr Brown wishes to express his deepest gratitude to the fans for their support and looks forward to a successful tour in the near future."
To make up for the cancellation, you can’t say Chris hasn’t been giving us any new music in the meantime. Check out Before The Party right here, while you wait for Royalty to drop on December 18.
