After multiple weeks without any big chart debuts, we were starting to think it was a drought. Thankfully, last week saw some HUGE releases, with Justin Bieber, Logic, Jeezy, and Ty Dolla $ign all dropping their albums. Biebs unsurprisingly came out on top, beating out fellow pop superstars One Direction in what turned out to be less of a battle than expected (1D moved 460,000 units to Bieber's 649k). Nevertheless it was the first time two debuting albums had sold over 400k in one week since Kanye West and 50 Cent's infamous head-to-head in 2007.
Behind the two pop giants were some impressive rap numbers, with Logic and Jeezy coming in at number 3 and 4 respectively, each moving over 100k. Ty Dolla $ign's sales were a little more modest, coming in at number 14.
Check out the full breakdown below.
1) Justin Bieber—Purpose: Justin Bieber comes out on top by a landslide, securing the number one spot (and stunting on 1 Direction) with 649,000 units sold (522,000 excluding streams).
2) Logic—The Incredible True Story: Logic comes in with the biggest debut of the week (outside of Biebs), landing at number 3 with his sophomore album, The Incredible True Story. He earns 135,096 in sales (118,062 excluding streams).
3) Jeezy—Church In These Streets: Jeezy's latest might not be his highest sales week yet, but it's much less modest than the projections (65-70k) suggested. Landing just behind Logic at number 4, the Snowman moves 107,316 units (98,380 excluding streams).
4) The Weeknd—Beauty Behind The Madness: This is the first week in some time Abel has been unseated from the top of the rap and R&B sales, falling from 4 to 8 and moving 42,786 units (15,407 excluding streams). He's at a total of 678,905 copies sold.
5) Fetty Wap—Fetty Wap: Fetty Wap has proved himself to be another consistent seller, but he's fallen out of the top ten this week, dropping from 8 to 11. He still manages to sell 33,573 copies (7,844 excluding streams). His debut has earned 165,000 total sales so far.
6) Ty Dolla $ign—Free TC: Ty Dolla $ign's debut, while arguably the most impressive project released this week, failed to grasp the top ten, instead settling for 14, with 31,274 sold (21,620 excluding streams).

Adele is still ruling the Hot 100 (and we're expecting a takeover next week when her record-breaking sales numbers come in), but behind her we've got an influx of Canadians, starting with Bieber's "Sorry" at Number 2, Drake's "Hotline Bling," down 2 to 3, two more Bieber tracks, and then The Weeknd's "The Hills" at 6 (down from 4).
Elsewhere, Post Malone's "White Iverson" is sitting steady at 28, Bryson Tiller's "Don't" is up from 42 to 38, and Tory Lanez' "Say It" is up from 57 to 51. Which one will prove to be the biggest hit? Let us know in the comments below.
