The Weeknd is on top of the world right now. His latest album, Beauty Behind the Madness, looks to be one of the best-selling releases of the year, and he's had the No. 1 song in the country, "The Hills," for 5 weeks straight; before that it was "I Can't Feel My Face." To get an idea of just how big he is -- overseas, too -- watch him perform "The Hills" and "Losers," which could very well prove to be his next big hit, at last month's Apple Music Festival in London.
The footage was just released, and it's electrifying. He stops the music just before the initial drop on "The Hills" to properly prepare the crowd for the climactic chorus. They belt out every word to the smash hit. On "Losers," his backing band is on fire, helping Abel give an MJ-like performance; when he's speaking, in fact, the Jackson comparison is undeniable.
