Waka Flocka has aired out his grievances with his label on a public platform before, and he's taken to it again this afternoon.
He's actually echoing similar statements he made in April of this year, when he asked to buy out of his Atlantic contract. Well, looks like he still wants that buy-out. Taking to twitter in a lengthy rant which also breaks down some label politics, Waka started, "I fucking hate my label." He continued, "Atlantic Records ----- LET ME BUY-OUT FUCK!!!!"
"Labels don't do shit for the artist #FACTS Labels don't invest #FACTS Labels hire a bunch of amateurs to keep cost down #FACTS. The first thing the label asked after I got shot is --- "can you go to the studio" From that day forward I knew my label didn't care I'm just another dollar sign. You mother fuckers woke the beast back up," he tweeted in succession.
From there, he went into some of the gritty details when it comes to major labels/large corporations in general. Peep the full rant below.
