Kanye West is officially done with community service stemming from his assault on a photographer at LAX airport. The rapper clocked in even more hours than was required of him, and reportedly received an extremely favorable review.
Yeezy had been giving his time to the L.A. Trade Technical College, lecturing the students in the fashion design program. Ye's lawyer, Blair Berk, was in court on Tuesday morning on Kanye's behalf, and presented a quite complimentary letter from the Dean of the college. The letter praises Kanye, saying, "The contribution of the hands-on community service Mr. West has completed with our school has been of great benefit to our students and program."
Kanye completed a total of 262 hours, instead of just the 240 he was required. He's still on informal probation, but he's basically out of the woods.
