The annual MTV VMAs are going down this Sunday, with a slew of performers already announced. MTV isn't done yet though, after tapping The Weeknd, Pharrell, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, A$AP Rocky and others, they've announced that Nicki Minaj will open up the awards show. This will be her second year in a row performing on the VMAs stage.
Nicki Minaj beefed with MTV (or at least, she openly slammed them), when it was revealed that "Anaconda" wasn't among the nominees for Video of the Year. It seems the two have put those issues behind them.
Miley Cyrus will be hosting the MTV VMAs on Sunday, August 30 at at 9 p.m. ET/PT. It's sure to be a memorable night, stay tuned.
