A$AP Rocky has spoken out about his Rita Ora lyrics on the track "Better Things," off his new album A.L.L.A., however we'd yet to hear from Rita herself on the diss, until today.
Rocky himself referred to the diss as "tasteless," although he stands by what he said. In an interview with the Guardian he said, "The Rita thing was tasteless of me. [But] I’ve got to stand by it, because I did it. I said it. Who gives a fuck about who I’m fucking? Nobody really cares. It’s fun to hear, but who really gives a fuck about who Rita Ora’s fucking?"
During a sit-down with Hot 97, where Rita Ora was promoting new music she's currently working on (including her single with Chris Brown, "Body On Me"), she addresses the lyrics, noticeably unbothered by them.
On the topic, she says, "I’m not looking at it like 'you’re upsetting me' because I don’t actually give a shit. I think about it, and I don’t want people to think it’s ok to speak about women like that. I don’t care what you say about me. I don’t give a flying fuck. That’s just how it is, but you know got to keep it moving. I’m very happy with what I do, and I’m proud of who I am, and what I represent."
