Here goes the second apology of the day, in an unrelated beef to the Meek Mill/Drake incident. Meek Mill formally apologized to his boo Nicki Minaj during their show last night (although he shouted out Drizzy, he didn't publicly apologize, yet). Now T Swift has hopped on twitter to publicly apologize to Nicki Minaj for misconstruing her rant against the MTV VMAs.
When Nicki Minaj found out that, somehow, "Anaconda" wasn't nominated for Video of the Year at the annual awards show, she went off on twitter, questioning whether it was because of her race/the fact she is a female MC. Taylor Swift joined the conversation, thinking that she was pitting women against each other. "I've done nothing but love & support you. It's unlike you to pit women against each other. Maybe one of the men took your slot..," she wrote, to which the Barbz leader replied, "Huh? U must not be reading my tweets. Didn't say a word about u. I love u just as much. But u should speak on this."
Now Taylor has cleared the air, tweeting, "I thought I was being called out. I missed the point, I misunderstood, then misspoke. I'm sorry, Nicki."
