Yesterday Twitter's CEO, Dick Costolo, announced that he'd be stepping down from his position at the company. In the interim, Jack Dorsey, the co-founder and chairman, will take the role of CEO, however they are in need of a permanent replacement.
Snoop Dogg quickly announced his desire to be the next Twitter CEO. Dorsey said, when looking for their new CEO, it would have to be someone who "really uses and loves the product in every single way." Do you think Snoop falls under that umbrella?
The rapper has already launched his Twitter campaign with the hashtag #SnoopForCEO. He also encouraged the hashtag #IfSnoopWasTwitterCEO, which led to users recounting all the possibilities-- like upping the character limit from 140 to 420, and changing "Favorites" to "Puffs" and "Retweets" to "Passes."
