Before “White Iverson” ruled the airwaves, there was The Answer, more commonly known as Allen Iverson. The inspiration for Post Malone’s breakout single had an up-and-down NBA career, but will go down as one of the best point guards of all time. During his career, he also had a shoe line with Reebok, aptly called the “Question.”
2016 marks the 20th anniversary of the iconic “Question Mid” basketball shoe, and Reebok is celebrating by releasing a new version of the sneaker – “Prototype” Question Mid. Check out the detailed pictures above to get a good look at the sneaker.
This version of the Question Mid never released to the public, as it was the original design created while Iverson was still a star in college. A few tweaks were made before its final appearance on shelves, hence the Prototype moniker. The high-top sneaker features many of the design elements that made the original so popular, including Hexalite technology, unique lacing structure and colorful toe box.
The shoe will be releasing on Friday, February 5 on Reebok.com and at Packer Shoes and Concepts. They will retail for $200 and will probably be in high demand among collectors, so mark your calendars.
