Pusha T had a pretty awful night in his hometown of Virginia yesterday, as he unloaded a series of Tweets calling out a local business for racist practices. The GOOD Music rapper accused Venue 112-- a sports lounge in the area --for using a fake guest list to discourage black patrons from entering the space, calling it the "most racist establishment in the 757".
This morning, he took to Instagram to expand on his thoughts, writing "A history of reviews online and on social media share in a seamless thread of bigotry involving your establishment. I will never come there again. You didn't know me last night but u will learn everything abt me. And u will correct this wrong."
The lounge's Yelp page shows multiple reviews which echo Pusha's experience, one of which also confirms the phony guest list tactic, with a user writing, "Overall racist, it's 2015 we had to wait outside and white patrons walk in. I would give a 0 if possible."
Check out Pusha's thoughts below. Hopefully his reach will be enough to get the restaurant shut down.
