A total of 11 producers are listed on the credits to Kanye West's latest single, "All Day". Since starting Very GOOD Beats, the production wing of GOOD Music, which houses Q-Tip, Hudson Mohawke, Travi$ Scott, and more, Kanye has begun bringing in several, if not more, producers on every single track--creating some of the most forward-thinking productions in hip-hop.
Few have the creative vision, or resources, to spearhead such a movement, but the idea of including many producers on the same track actually goes back to Diddy's hot-streak at Bad Boy Records, when he and his production team, The Hitmen, released 21 straight platinum or gold records.
Yesterday (April 18), Diddy (also on "All Day") announced the official return of The Hitmen, with himself at the helm. Aside from Diddy, the original members returning are: Chucky Thompson, Deric "D-Dot" Angelettie, Steven "Stevie J" Jordan, Mario Winans, and Nashiem Myrick. The 2015 squad does include one notable addition, though: namely, Mr. Kanye West. That's one helluva team.
Their first project: Diddy's upcoming MMM (Making Money Mitch), his first album since 2010.
