"Just download Lyft, they are bigger in presence out here" -- Lil Dicky, "Pillow Talking"
***
The fact that Lil Dicky is basically the only rapper that has referenced car service Lyft in his music speaks to the supremacy of Uber, at least in the hip hop community. Madeintyo succinctly summarized mentality of the modern Uber-taking rapper in his summer anthem "Uber Everywhere," which has since been remixed by Travi$ Scott. Uber=disposal income. Uber=power. Most of all, Uber=a means to get girls to leave your crib.

Tyga & Chris Brown - "D.G.I.F.U." feat. Pusha T
"We coupe niggas, you niggas riding four doors
Like Uber nigga, we piling all of your whores" - Pusha
Pusha is not saying that he's piling your whores into an Uber, but rather comparing Uber to his dick.
A$AP Rocky - West Side Highway
"Try to scrutinize, cause I keep two inside
Suicides? No sir, hoes get the Uber ride"
Suicides > Uber. But what about Ubers with suicide doors though??
Wale - "The Girls On Drugs"
"I call her boo cuz her real one I will forget
I use a Uber to scoop me to SLS
What you expect, a little groupie to see my crib?
Oh no, these niggas ain't serious?"
Wale claims that he's spent $1.1 million on Uber since 2014 (he "kept the meter running" while staying at French Montana's crib a few times). So it's not surprising to hear that he would rather take an Uber to a hotel than bring a girl back to his house.
2 Chainz - "Watch Out"
"Duffle bags in the Escalade
Call the bitch there a bread truck
Got the bitch going retarded
Call Uber for a spare truck"
A$AP Ant, Icce, & Soduh - “Uber”
"Police don't know that I'm strapped
Sellin' dope out the Uber, relax" - Icce (chorus)
"In the muhfuckin’ Uber gettin’ this muhfuckin’ money
Jugging these scripts. Im still busting scripts daily.
Ya heard… Shout out to the pharmacy.
We getting face tats, we ain't getting no 9-5" - Ant (outro)
Pretty sure the founders of Uber didn't anticipate anyone using their cars to "jugg scripts."
Macklemore & Ryan Lewis - “Downtown”
"My seat is leather, alright, I'm lying, it's pleather
But girl, we could still ride together, oh
You don't need an Uber, you don't need a cab
Fuck a bus pass, you got a moped, man!"
If this album flops, Macklemore should just move to Copenhagen and live out his dream of getting everywhere via moped.
Chance the Rapper - “Somewhere in Paradise”
"As I smoke herb in this Uber Suburban
Dressed in an Urban Outfitters shirt and burgundy pair of Jordans
I asked the acid if words were worth worrying over"
21 Savage - “Mind Yo Business”
"Five shooters in the back of the Uber, nigga, and they ready to shoot
I tie my laces, I dip in that bag, nigga, and I take me a boof"
Most rappers use Uber to facilitate sex... 21 Savage uses Uber to ride up on the opposition.
Lil Wayne - “My Name Is”
"Wake up, I see bad bitch, bad bitch, bad bitch
Makeup on my pillows make me mad, bitch
Without no makeup I see that bitch as just average
Uber, Uber, Uber, Uber, taxi!"
Rapping over the "My Name Is (Slim Shady)" beat, Tunechi failed to channel Eminem's joie de vivre as he rapped about his morning-after routine. The only question is which of the girls gets stuck with the taxi.
Uber Driver
Wiz Khalifa & Curren$y - “Uber Driver”
"Riding down the street, I hit the switch if I'm too drunk
Call an uber for the night, your broad with me
KK in the jar, jugging all through the city
Let your bitch put this bape hoodie on when they get chilly" - Wiz
"I'm too gone off this Veuve to maneuver, I might have to call a Uber
Get me through the, traffic, a lighter and a cool ass driver" - Curren$y
It doesn't matter if you're a rapper or a regular Joe. If you're drunk, Uber just might be your best friend.
