Flying Lotus will interview Kendrick Lamar tonight as part of his BBC1 residency.

We first heard Flying Lotus and Kendrick Lamar paired on the latter's You're Dead!! highlight, "Never Catch Me," but it's clear that the matchup greatly informed K-Dot's sophomore outing, To Pimp A Butterfly. The LP features yet another instrumental from FlyLo, as well as plenty of tracks with his consistent collaborator, Thundercat, whose bass playing has become synonymous with the Flying Lotus sound.

Tonight, Lamar and Lotus will be chopping it up on BBC1, as part of the robotic jazz producer's residency on the station. The show will be airing at 10PM BST, which is 5PM EST. You can tune in live over at the BBC site. If you're a fan of either artist, this shouldn't be one to miss.
