Fox's "Empire" soundtrack was the highest selling album of the week.

Fox's Empire is the biggest breakout hit on TV this season, and as much as it seemed poised to earn a big audience, it's success has exceeded expectations. While it's been pulling in impressive ratings (you know you're hot when you have "Modern Family" sweating), it's also been doing numbers on the charts, and this week, the show's original soundtrack has debuted at number one on the Billboard 200.

Selling 130,000 copies, the OST beat out Madonna's Rebel Heart for the top spot, which is no easy task. It's the first soundtrack to top the charts since Glee's domination in 2010.

The show's finale is set to air later this week, and we're sure it'll continue to bring in the ratings and iTunes purchases.
