Cam'ron has two new albums slated for this year.

After 2006's Killa Season, Cam'ron output was intermittent at best, but over the last year or so, Cam has caught his second wind. Part of this can surely be attributed to the peak in Dipset nostalgia over the last little while, with Cam's pink fur photo becoming an iconic and profitable image. Cam has taken advantage of the recycled hype, pulling into the cape game and getting the gang back together for a Dipset tour.

He's also been producing music on a regular basis, releasing a First Of The Month EP every four weeks last year, but he hasn't delivered a studio album since 2009's Crime Pays.

That's about to change as the Harlem rapper told Revolt that both the Diplomats album and his sequel to 2004 classic Purple Haze will see release this year.

"I'm getting ready to go on tour in March, April for the Diplomats tour," said Cameron. "Then in May, Cam'ron by himself is going overseas. Then I start shooting Percentage 2 and 3 in June and July. Then the end of July the Diplomat album coming out, then I start working on Purple Haze 2 for this December. So that's what's going on for this year."

Like many of his fans, Cam has a special place in his heart for Purple Haze.“My favorite album that I ever recorded, it would probably be Purple Haze," he revealed. "I was staying out here, I was staying in Chicago at that time. I was staying in Ohio. I was back in New York, I was all over the place so I got to see a bunch of different cultures. I always travel but I never sat down in one other state for more than two, three weeks. I was living in Chicago for three years. I was living in Ohio for five years. Just meeting different people from parts of the United States while I was doing that album was pretty dope."
