Iggy Azalea Is Quitting Twitter [Update: And Instagram Too, Apparently]

We've seen Iggy Azalea get herself riled up on twitter a lot lately. She responds to almost every gossip-y headline that surfaces about her with a twitter rant, often times just making things worse for herself. Perhaps taking a cue from T.I., who recently suggested Iggy lay off twitter and focus on rap, Iggy has announced that she'll no longer be tweeting.

In a series of tweets last night, Iggy detailed why she's decided to take a break from social media, calling the internet "the ugliest reflection of man kind there is." Her twitter account will now be run by her management.

"I feel the hatred and pettiness I see online at all times is at making me become an angry person and I cannot be that," she tweeted. "To become nasty because of the way I feel I am treated would be a disservice to my fans and I promise I will try to keep smiling."
