Pharrell is turning "Happy" into a children's book.

Pharrell's "Happy" will soon be more than just a hit song, it'll be turned into a four-part children's book series. The singer, producer and rapper has already dabbled in writing in the past, with his book "Pharrell: Places And Spaces I've Been", and soon he'll be adding to his author resume with a new deal with Putnam Books.

Billboard reports that the Putnam and Pharrell have entered an agreement for P to produce four picture books for young readers, starting off the series with one inspired by his song "Happy." The book "Happy" is expected to be published on September 22nd, and will feature photographs of children from around the world "celebrating what it means to be happy." Putnam plans to print 250,000 copies.
