Reports say Chris Brown is trying to distance himself from the San Jose shooting and "hood clubs."

As you might have seen over the weekend, during a Chris Brown show at a San Jose nightclub, shots broke out injuring five people.

Video footage from the night shows Breezy performing on stage, and after he notices some sort of scuffle in the audience he tells the crowd "Oh, them niggas getting it in over there." Immediately after he makes the statement, shots ring out and everyone is trying to flee the club.

Following the incident, TMZ apparently has the inside scoop on what Chris Brown told his management team. The singer reportedly held an emergency meeting and instructed his team to no longer book "hood clubs." By "hood clubs" he is apparently referring to venues that have a history of violence or lax security.
