Next year, hopefully in March or April, Ty Dolla $ign will be dropping his hotly-anticipated debut album, Free TC. Thus far, virtually all we know about the album is that "Stand For" will be the lead single, but today we get some additional info. In an interview with Rap-Up, Ty Dolla reveals some big-name features that will be on the album.
Jagged Edge, YG, Wiz Khalifa, and R. Kelly will all be on the project, speaking to Ty's love for '90s R&B, and on top of that, Kendrick Lamar will grace a track called "L.A." In addition to that, Ty also revealed some more details about the album's concept, which centers around his currently-incarcerated brother:
“It’s for a purpose. He’s locked up for something that he didn’t do. It’s many people out here that get injustice, as you’ve seen Mike Brown, Trayvon Martin, everything that’s happening on the news right now. It has a purpose. It’s gonna be the biggest album of 2015.”
