Crew tracks are commonplace in rap today, but unless we're going back to The Game's legendary "One Blood" remix, they rarely feature more than 5 or 6 rappers. A new project put together by Noisey and Hennessey plans to raise the bar for posse cuts, featuring 30 different rappers recorded in 3 different cities (Game's track had 23 rappers by the way. We had to count).
With studio sessions in rap hotspots New York, Atlanta, and Los Angeles, producer Nick Hook recorded verses from the likes of YG, Problem, Action Bronson, Scotty ATL, Nipsey Hussle, Raekwon, Killer Mike, Pusha T, Rockie Fresh, and many more for the ambitious project.
As you can see from the list of names, not everyone fits into the three regions, but everyone came out to the studios in those locations.
The sessions in each city were documented, and can be viewed below. No word on when the song will be coming out, but it seems as though it could be any day now.
