Weekly review of the Hip-Hop and R&B sales/charts.

We're currently awaiting first week sale numbers for Jeezy's new album, Seen It All, which is supposed to move around 90k-100k. Even though these are just projections at the moment, it's extremely unlikely The Snowman will be able to beat the sales of his last album TM:103 Hustlerz Ambition, which moved 233,000 copies when it dropped three years ago. We'll wait to analyze those numbers once Seen It All hits the charts though. For now, we've got Wiz's new album Blacc Hollywood dropping five spots in week two of charting. That's not a very steep drop, but it will be interesting to see how the LP does in the long run, as the reviews haven't been the warmest. In other interesting chart news, Beyonce's self-titled album has skyrocketed back up the charts the past two weeks, finding a spot at #14. It's quite the leap from last week's #44. What do we have to blame for this rise in sales? Perhaps her recent VMA performance where she received the Video Vanguard Award gave her an extra push. Plus the fact that Blue Ivy was dancing along to her mom's "Flawless" performance probably helped too (amiright?). Finally, G-Unit make a debut with their new EP The Beauty Of Independence charting at #17. Considering it's just a five-track EP that they dropped out of nowhere, 14,472 copies sold is not too shabby. Check out what else went down below.

1)        Wiz Khalifa—Blacc Hollywood: After Blacc Hollywood earned Wiz Khalifa his first #1 LP, the album dropped five spots this week to #6. Wiz moved another 30,000 units, which brought his grand tally to 120,000.

2)        Beyonce— Beyonce: Below Wiz we find Queen Bey, who, somehow, has managed to fly back up the Billboard 200 to her current resting place of #44. She was sitting at #44 last week. Beyonce sold 15,518 units, while her total sales sit at 2,055,353.

3)        Iggy Azalea—The New Classic: Iggy Azalea is already planning a re-release of her debut The New Classic, while the original continues to do well on the charts. This week the album dropped two spots to #16, after selling 14,707 copies. Her total sales are 323,149.

4)        G-Unit— The Beauty Of Independence: G-Unit’s surprise EP makes its debut on the Billboard 200, coming in at #17. The newly-reunited crew have moved 14,472 copies.

5)        Trey Songz— Trigga: This week Trey Songz comes in at #39, a drop from #25. After charting for 9 weeks the singer sold  7,416 copies, while his total sales climbed to 230,054.

6)         Eminem— The Marshall Mathers LP 2: Em drops two spots this week only to find himself at #51. MMLP2 shipped out another 5,892 copies, while the total sales rose to 2,189,993.

7)         Michael Jackson— Xscape: Xscape is slowly making its way down the Billboard 200, falling to #62 from #47. The post-humous release from MJ sold 4,945 copies this week, with total sales of 417,273.

8)         John LegendLove In The Future: John Legend has been persistent on these charts, but it looks like his album, which has been charting of 52 weeks now, is finally making a descent. The album dropped down from #45 to #63 this week. The album moved 4,769 copies with total sales of 611,161.

9)        PharrellG I R L: P’s album falls to #64 this week, after charting for 26 weeks. The singer moved just under 5k this week, with 4,748 copies sold. Pharrell reached the half a million mark in terms of total sales, with 511,667 copies sold.

Further down the charts we find August Alsina’s Testimony sitting at #71, down from #58. Childish Gambino, who recently saw a spike in sales, comes in at #72 with Because The Internet rising again from #83 last week. Drake is also keeping afloat with Nothing Was The Same dropping a few spots to #75.
