The term B-sides comes from the vinyl record days, when artists would release a single, then put a little extra something on the reverse side for the fans. The tradition didn't stop when music moved to CDs, as artists would throw an extra track or two that didn't make the album on the singles disc (remember those for $2 at Strawberry's?). Now, in the mixtape era, there a lot more B-sides, and today we're going to run through some of our favorite ones. Whether they're mixtape or album cuts, throwaway tracks for the fans, etc the B-side is still alive and well. You may now turn the record over to side B.
