Among the many festivals that went down this past weekend (although some experienced a few setbacks due to the weather), The Roots' annual Roots Picnic took place in Philedelphia. Although the weather didn't hinder this particular festival, Future's mic issues caused the rapper to end his set early. Apart from that, it seems the festival went off without a hitch, and now The Roots are preparing to bring the festival to New York for the very first time.
The NYC leg of the festival will span two days, from October 1st to October 2nd, at Bryant Park in Manhattan. The first day of headliners includes The Roots, D'Angelo and John Mayer, while the second day has Wu-Tang Clan, David Bryne and Nile Rodgers as headliners. Among the two days, you can expect performances from Kevin Gates, Swizz Beatz, Jeremih, EPMD, Freddie Gibbs, Styles P, Royce Da 5'9", Lil Uzi Vert and more.
Take a look at the flyer with the full list of acts above. Tickets go on sale this coming Friday at 10 AM EST over at Ticketmaster.
