During its emerging popularity, rappers and artists in the community began to influence a lot more than just the music world. Fashion became a huge part of the hip hop scene, influencing and inspiring trends on a mass scale.
From Nike sneakers and baggie jeans to Kangol hats and carrying boom boxes, rappers were starting to call the shots and make the trends.
