Not long after performing at the So-So Def's 20th Anniversary back in February, Chris "Mac Daddy" Kelly has sadly passed away.
Atlanta's DJ Greg Street has confirmed that Chris "Mac Daddy" Kelly, from the legendary 90's duo Kris Kross, was found dead in his Atlanta home this evening at the age of 34. He was found unconscious at his home and taken to Atlanta's Medical Center South Campus where he was pronounced dead around 5:30 P.M. The cause of death is yet to be known.

As reported above, Chris "Mac Daddy" Kelly of the rap duo Kris Kross, passed away last night. Although the details are still murky at this time, TMZ has obtained some information about Kelly before his passing.
According to a police report obtained by TMZ, Kelly had been using a mix of cocaine and heroin the night before his death. Paramedics initially responded to Kelly's Atlanta home at 3 PM EST, after a 911 call from his mother.
When the paramedics arrived, Kelly was lying on his living room couch, with no signs of life. Paramedics attempted to revive him, although to no avail. The Kris Kross rapper was then taken to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead upon arrival.
Apparently Kelly's mother, Donna Kelly Pratt, told the police after her son's death that he had taken a mixture of cocaine and heroin the night before. She said she brought Chris home after his usage, as she had done many times before. Donna told the police that her son had felt naseuos all morning, before he passed out.
According to the police report, both Chris "Mac Daddy" Kelly's mother and uncle attested to his extensive history of drug use.
Nonetheless, the cause of Chris' death has not been confirmed at this time.

It's been officially confirmed that Chris Kelly died of a drug overdose. An investigator from the Fulton County Medical Examiner's Office in Atlanta says that Chris' toxicology screening showed he had a fatal mixture of drugs in his sytem.
The investigator did not confirm which drugs were found in the Kriss Kross rapper's system, but as we had previously reported, Kelly's mother said he'd been using cocaine and heroin the night before his death.
