The first quarter of the year passed with barely a recognizable album drop but with Kid Cudi and Ghostface Killah releasing albums on the same day, HNHH decided to look at the Most Anticipated Albums of the Summer.

The first few months of 2013 passed with the hip-hop game in limbo, with a severe lack of albums that sparked everyone's attention. Weezys tenth album, I Am Not A Human Being II, was mediocre compared to his previous projects, A$AP Rocky's album, despite being exceptional was leaked late last year, weeks before its release date; several artists pushed their album release dates back extinguishing the thirst for them and other projects just fell by the wayside as there was no real promotion or anticipation for them.

It wasn't until Tyler, the Creator's third album, Wolf, released on April 2nd, that marked the beginning of a whole slew of albums to be released in the month of April and subsequent summer months. Artists look to drop their albums in the hot, summer months to cop that coveted summer single, but very few succeed. For hip-hop fans though, this means a lot of albums being released in the upcoming months and with several unconfirmed albums rumoured to be dropping this summer, keep your eyes and ears open on HNHH for the latest news on them.
