While the hype surrounding Kendrick Lamar's article doesn't seem to dissipating any time soon, many fans were wondering what happened to be the Lady Gaga feature on "Bitch, Don't Kill My Vibe."
Originally, during his listening session, Kendrick didn't name any song titles but introduced that specific record as his "Lady Gaga record." So with the album dropping, and no Lady Gaga record to be found, many wondered why.
Kendrick explained it was a deadline situation that halted the Lady Gaga feature to appear on good kid, m.A.A.d city.
While talking to MTV News the Compton rapper explained, "The fact is I had to realize the business end of this game. I come from the grind where we put out mixtapes. You ain't gotta worry about clearances or even deadlines and with that situation, that situation was a deadline situation. We had to meet these pre-orders. I was frustrated about it. My team was frustrated about it, but at the same time, we had to move forward."
Kendrick assures us the records he's done with Lady Gaga still exist, and will be released eventually. "The records are still in the can," he said. "That's two joints, so the music is there."
