UA has compiled four different tracks this week, each with a unique feel and solid production, setting them apart from the daily list of songs. Term & Lil Fame vibe out over Alchemist production, Curt@!n$ returns to the music scene with help from ScHoolboy Q, Gangsta Gibbs chops up the hard, and Jon Connor does what he does best. Check them all out below.
Termanology & Lil Fame- Fizzyology (Prod. By The Alchemist)
Term seems to like to the joint album thing, first he linked up with Statik Selektah as 1982, and now he's working with Lil Fame of MOP under the guise “Fizzyology.” The duo will be releasing an album of the same name, and they let go this as a solid first single off it. Production from the Alchemist and lyrics to spare make this stand out.
Cut@!n$- Ruthle$$ Feat. ScHoolboy Q
Haven't heard anything from Curt@!n$ in a long minute, and so I was happily surprised to see he's back at it with none other than Puff Daddy aka ScHoolboy Q. The beat is perfect for Q, and Curt@!n$ does it justice as well.
Freddie Gibbs- The Hard Feat. Dana Williams
Gangsta Gibbs hasn't always been a mainstay on my iTunes playlist, but recently that's changed. The two leaks he's dropped (this one and “Bout It Bout It”) have been on repeat. This particular cut features a female artist, Dana Williams, as Gibbs spits about doing the gangsta shit he knows best. Gibbs delivers on a lyrical level as well, with lines like: “this glock ain't got no safety, the owner got no patience, so please don't make my finger and this trigger make relations...” shiiiettt! Needless to say, I'm excited to hear what Baby Face Killa will sound like, which is supposed to drop today, and my hopes are up!
Jon Connor- What I Do (Prod. By Statik Selektah)
Randomly we got a new Statik Selektah x Jon Connor joint, and we may be getting more of them in the future as there's a rumor the two are working on something together. Connor stays fast-paced on Statik's beat while still switching up his flow.
