Travi$ Scott- Up Feat. Casey Veggies
Travi$ Scott has been featured on Meek Mill's Dreamchasers 2 "I Get It," and there's a rumour he may be joining the G.O.O.D. Music family. I think he'd be a good fit. This single is illy and I'm definitely looking out for his upcoming project Owl Pharoah.
Smoke DZA- Ashtray Feat. Domo Genesis & ScHoolboy Q
Smoke DZA made a surprise appearance at the pre-show for the Summer Jam and joined Big K.R.I.T. on stage which was cool. He definitely has the support of the right rappers. With production from Harry Fraud on this track and those two features, you can't really fail. His album Rugby Thompson will be produced entirely by Harry Fraud.
At the moment, Jay Rock is the Black Hippy member with the least amount of shine at the moment, and he's also the one I've heard the least amount of music from. But as this cut proves, Jay Rock is still killing it like his fellow Black Hippys. He remakes a 1994 classic but gives it a more modern spin while keeping the same smooth feel.
Dom Kennedy- My Type Of Party
I've really been feeling everything the West Coast has been doing as of late, and Dom Kennedy is no exception. I love this track and I don't know how it didn't make it into last week's UA, that was an over-sight on my part. Dom Kennedy has shown a lot of improvement since From the Westside With Love, so I am excited to hear what's in store for us on Yellow Album. This beat is a banger. Check out his freestyle from the past week also, Dom's always has smooth vocals.
