Four tracks this week for you to enjoy, if you haven't already.
Phil Ade- Hatin (Faded Remix)
Phil Ade takes on Tyga's “Faded” and turns it into “Hatin” for all his haters (and fans too). I hope we get a new Phil Ade project soon.
Sir Michael Rocks- Chill Feat. Like (of Pac Div)
1/2 of the Cool Kids dropped his solo tape this past week, “Premier Politics 1.5,” and this was one of the doper tracks on it. But that's not to say the rest of “Premier Politics 1.5” isn't also dope. This is extremely smooth, and both Mikey Rocks and Like give some good advice, just chill.
QuESt- Nowhere to Go Feat. Logic
We premiered QuESt's (from Florida) new tape, “Fear Not Failure,” last week, and it has been well-recieved. This was a stand-out track off the tape, with a feature from Maryland's Logic. Both rappers are good lyricists with a nice flow, so this is definitely worth a listen.
Paypa- Turned Up Feat. Chip Tha Ripper
I don't know that much about Paypa, but he was able to get a Chip feature so I had to listen. I wasn't disappointed, Paypa and Chip both deliver. This song will live on Paypa's upcoming project, "H.O.T.R.2 (Henny On The Rocks 2)."
