Lupe Fiasco had a successful year in 2011 with his album "Lasers" topping Billboard charts, and selling 200,000 copies in the first week, although Atlantic Records delayed the LP coming out. Once again, it seems Atlantic Records is the cause of the delay for Lupe's fourth album, which he plans to begin this year.
"The 'Lupe [Fiasco's Food & Liquor II]' album is [coming out] hopefully. It's not on me. It's not done yet. I'm waiting on my record company, ain't nothing changed. Same business, it's on them."
In the meantime though, Lupe is heading back on the road, "We got a big tour coming up in Australia in April, and we got a couple things sprinkled through the top part of the year," he states. "Nothing real crazy, we're going to wait until the album drops to really go hard."
