Combining two huge artist's pieces of work, Ducko takes on the instrumentals from Kanye West's 808s and Heartbreak and combines them with the raw, acapella vocals from 21 Savage's Savage Mode.
"I was like, ‘There’s no way I’m gonna get these acapellas,'" he told Genius. "It just turned into what it is now. I think those are the best ideas; I didn’t try to force anything, it was just a natural marriage. Then you have all these outside elements that played into it."
One of the daunting aspects is taking on the work of mega-producers like Kanye, and today, arguably the hottest producer in the game, Metro Boomin. "Metro destroyed the original beats on this album, and it’s an honor. I was like, ‘Damn, not only am I sampling some shit I shouldn’t be sampling, but now you’re gonna have to directly compare this version to one produced by one of the top niggas in the game right now.'"
