Wale is finally ready to get his Shine on. After a couple set backs & delays, the MMG rapper’s fifth studio LP was officially released on iTunes tonight, a week ahead of its original scheduled date.
Lead by the singles “My PYT” & “Running Back,” the follow up to 2015’s The Album About Nothing contains 14 tracks in total & features guest appearances from the likes of Lil Wayne, Chris Brown, Travis Scott, Due Lipa, G-Eazy, Phil Ade, Wizkid, J. Balvin, and even his baby daughter Zyla, who appears on the outro “Smile.”
"This one was more fun for me. I'm not trying to outshine anyone, I just let go. I'm not talking about anything too serious. I wanted an album that was just good for summertime, good for good weather and being with friends. There's a lot going on in the world right now and this is my concentrated effort to make life shine, make it glimmer” he says.
