Tiara Thomas shines on stripped down EP "Don't Mention My Name".

The opening guitar riff on Tiara Thomas' new EP Don't Mention My Name sets a soulful tone for the remainder of the project. Live instrumentation arrangements makes up the bulk of the production, with bass, acoustic guitars, and minimalist percussion. While the music has a low-key vibe, Thomas makes it clear that she is most definitely a badass. She's the type to be drinking some whiskey at the bar, not giving a fuck about some drama - even the title track is basically a threat.

What makes this project so interesting is the juxtaposition between the music and the lyrics, giving Tiara room to showcase the layered nature of her persona while still remaining vulnerable.
