The always reliable Crenshaw street poet known as Nipsey Hussle has released his new EP, Famous Lies and Unpopular Truths, which is his second project of the year, following August's Slauson Boy 2, a compilation of all the Marathon Monday tracks he had been dropping each week since April. There are five tracks on FLAUT, four of which have already been released. The EP ends with the brand new titular track.
The guests on Famous Lies and Unpopular Truths are Rick Ross, Freeway, and Cuzzy Capone. Executive music supervision is handled by the duo of Mike & Keys, who have produced on almost every song Nipsey has put out this year.
Famous Lies and Unpopular Truths should serve as the prelude to Victory Lap, which, upon its release, will technically be Nipsey's official debut album. He had originally announced the album in late 2013.
