The Game recently made amends with Lloyd Banks, and now, perhaps, he's on his way to doing just that with his primary G-Unit foe: 50 Cent. On Thursday night, Game decided to hop on Instagram while he was lit as hell in the club and reflect on the days, now over a decade ago, when he and 50 had been close collaborators. "Me n this nigga used to be tight as @Kehlani pussy," he wrote in a since-deleted post that obviously provoked the ire of the young R&B songstress whose body he used as a metaphor for his relationship with 50 Cent. He went on to praise the effects of 50's own EFFEN vodka, and last night, too, Game was seen wielding multiple EFFEN bottles and racking up a $7800 tab at the Playhouse club in Hollywood.
And the party at which Game bought all those bottles was being hosted by none other than 50 Cent. It's unclear if they ever encountered each other inside the club, but apparently Game's manager, the now-infamous Wack 100, talked to 50 prior to Game's arrival to let him know that they weren't interested in any drama.
Wack left a comment on an Instagram post today explaining how he was able to bring the two longtime rivals together under the same roof.
"As always I make things come together," he wrote. "Fuck what the media talking about the animals in the jungle rule the jungle! @50cent @wack100 2 bosses with a mutual understanding. Respect, through a handshake."
TMZ caught up with Game while he was on his way into the club, and though he didn't explicitly state his attendance was his way of reaching out to 50, he did admit that he has no interest in furthering their beef. "I ain't got no tension, man. 2016, I got too much money to be mad."
A clubgoer managed to record a clip of the club scene as 50 was giving a speech. Game can be easily seen towering above most of the audience, and he seems to throw up a bottle of EFFEN in a sign of solidarity.
