What to expect on tomorrow night's episode of OVO Sound Radio? Well, Drake and Khaled's new summer anthem already got the Beats 1 drop earlier today from Zane Lowe, though it's likely that Drake will play the song tomorrow night. He is DJing after all. Regardless if he plays any exclusives of his own, though, tomorrow's OVO Sound stream should not be missed, as Drizzy just revealed that the episode will be dedicated to Gucci Mane, who came home last Thursday (May 26) upon spending the better part of three years in an Indiana penitentiary.
This means we'll likely get to hear GuWop's comeback single, "First Day Out the Feds," which was streamed over a million times in its first day of release. Drake will also, no doubt, be ready to show off his knowledge of Gucci's deep cuts as well as his early work from the "So Icy"-era, as evidenced by the chain seen dangling in the poster for tomorrow evening's episode. And though we're likely guilty of gassing up the occasion, what a time it would be for Drake and Gucci to unveil a new collaboration. He did, after all, warn listeners that when "Gucci get out it's a problem" on "Digital Dash."
And as if that's not enough, after he opens the night, Drake will hand over the decks to his OVO underling Roy Woods for an exclusive mix of his own. Woods hasn't shared new music since March's "How I Feel," which was premiered via OVO Sound. Expect to hear some new material off his Waking at Dawn project, which should be on the way soon.
Check back here tomorrow night at 6pm EST for the live stream of the Gucci-themed episode of OVO Sound Radio.
