Last month, 50 Cent shocked his fans by posting a picture of himself next to a crying young boy. In the since-deleted post, 50 claimed that the boy, whose name is Davian, happened to be his newly discovered son. He also joked about the future child support payments that will come as a result of accepting Davian as his son. The next day, 50 went back on IG to post what looked to be an email from Davian's 5th grade teacher, who reported to Fif that his son is an excellent student and even informed him of potential scholarship opportunities. Who knows if that post was fabricated, though, as 50 has just revealed that Davian is not actually his biological son.
"He's not my biological son, but I treat him as my son," 50 told Hot 96.3's Keisha Nicole. He then admitted that he wishes that his estranged son, Marquise, would look up to him in the same way that Davian does. "I just met him," said 50 of Davian, "And it was interesting because the way he looked at me, and he's shaking and crying. [It was] all the things I wish my older son would."
50 went on to reveal that it's been almost five years since he spoke to Marquise, who is 20 years old. Fif mentioned Marquise's age to note that he won't be entitled to receive child support payments from his father for much longer. He partially blamed Marquise's mother for the broken relationship he has with his eldest son.
"We just don’t have that relationship," said 50 after being asked about the possibility of reconciling with Marquise, "Because when you pray for success you don’t pray for jealousy, envy, or entitlement and those things come along with it."
"His mom's entitlement has been filtered through him," 50 went on to say, "So while he’s a privileged child, he feels deprived. It would be pretty tough to have that [relationship] now since we haven’t communicated with each other for almost five years now. He’s 20, the support will be over, everything will be over."
