Jay Electronica has made a lot of great music over the last decade, but unfortunately, it has never amounted to a proper full length project. His short, experimental project, Act I: Eternal Sunshine (The Pledge), set itself up for a sequel, and since 2007 fans have been awaiting what they hoped would be a proper debut from the talented New Orleans rapper.
It seems that day may finally be approaching, as Jay Elec took to Twitter last night to share some news on Act II. After explaining the magical concept behind The Pledge and The Turn, the rapper hinted that the latter project would arrive soon. To all those who have been patient with me and supported me over the years, thank you. And get #Tidal #AreYouWatchingClosely?" he wrote.
In a now deleted tweet, Elec also responded to a fan who said he had only 40 days remaining on his Tidal trial, seemingly confirming that the project would arrive within that timeframe, writing, "well you're safe".
