"Motherfuckin' Just Blaze is cookin' right now, n*gga!" exclaimed Snoop Dogg in a video he put up on Instagram last night. "Ooh, and that's all for me? Oooh wee!" Yep, a few OGs reunited in the studio last night, and from the sounds of it, they created a banger for Snoop Dogg's next album. As it turns out, Nipsey Hussle also came by the studio, though he can't be seen in the below video. In the caption of the video, the Doggfather let fans know that his next album, on which they can hear his collab with Blaze and Nip, is coming in July. It will be Snoop's 14th LP.
Blaze hopped on Twitter to relay the studio vibes to his fans. "Right place right time, next thing, I got @NipseyHussle and @SnoopDogg in the booth trading bars." "Got me engineering and recording vocals like it's 2001 again," he added.
Though none of those bars can be heard in Snoop's clip, one can catch a pretty good snippet of the Blaze production, which incorporates one of his classic sampled-vocal melodies as well as a burning synth line that's got a decidedly G-funk feel to it. It's been a while since Blaze was credited with a hit single, though it looks like that's about to change.
