Lines are being drawn as the race for the United States presidency heats up. With the election less than 10 months away, numerous rappers, most notably Killer Mike & Lil B, have announced their support of Bernie Sanders. The people's choice!
To no one's surprise, Donald Trump has received little support from the hip hop community -- until now.
Chingy, the St. Louis rapper best known for his mid-'00s bangers "Right Thurr" and "Holidae In," both of which still slap, took to Twitter Friday afternoon to express his support of Trump. "Politics vs society," he wrote. "People should innerstand [sic] that politics is a business jus like the job you work at. I vote for Donald Trump."
He continued: "Donald Trump knows how to conduct business. This country is a business an needs to be ran by a businessman. It's not personal people!"
You heard him. It's not personal. Thoughts on Chingy's endorsement.
