Whatever criticisms listeners have in regards to Drake's new album VIEWS, the 6 God can just sit back and count his money.
According to Buzz Angle Music, a site that touts superior "granular" methodology, the album has taken two days (Friday, April 29 and Saturday, April 30) to sell 741,000 units in the United States and 80,000 in Canada. Looks like Drake's boast of 600,000 records sold in one night may have been accurate.
Estimates place VIEWS' first week sales in the United States at 1.2 million. "One Dance" has already shattered the U.K.'s record for most track streams in a single week, previously set by Adele's "Hello."
