When the Nike SB Stefan Janoski first dropped, there’s no way Nike could have predicted its success. These days, it’s arguably as popular as their core Nike SB dunk line, and the Swoosh is looking to continue capitalizing on that success while it’s still on-trend.
Previous iterations of the Nike SB Janoski have included a a mid-top cut, a model with a Nike Free sole, and a velcro version. Now Nike is introducing a slip on version of the sneaker. The shoe retains its outsole and dual stitching throughout the toe box, but the mid-foot area gets a complete makeover without the laces. Nike doesn’t add anything, keeping the silhouette as clean as possible with the exception of the Swoosh and tongue tag.
So far only white canvas and black suede models have been spotted, but with a clean sneaker like this you can expect a lot more variations. Is this appealing enough to get any Vans Slip On fans to make the switch to Nike?
