Usually one to keep his social networking activity at a standstill, Kanye West surprised his legion of Twitter followers Wednesday (Oct. 19) when he took to his page to reveal a G.O.O.D. Music album would be released in 2012.
"GOODMUSIC.THE ALBUM.SPRING2012," he teweeted (See tweet http://omg.ly/y7N1) to more than four million of his followers on the site.
As founder of the label, chances are the Chi-town MC will drop his witty rhymes and assist with beatmaking on the forthcoming effort, due out next spring.
G.O.O.D. Music signees Pusha T, John Legend, Mr Hudson, Big Sean, CyHi the Prynce and Kid Cudi will surely be featured on the forthcoming compilation, though no details have been released as to who will officially appear.
Clipse member Pusha T, who drops his debut solo effort, 'Fear of God II: Let Us Pray,' Nov. 8, jumped the gun in announcing the album during an interview on a Chicago radio station. West hadn't announced the news when Pusha spilled the beans. His blunder prompted the Thornton brother to reply to his label boss via Twitter. "RT @kanyewest: GOODMUSIC.THE ALBUM.SPRING2012 *i thought I spoke too soon in a WGCI interview yesterday...so glad u said this today...lol*," Pusha wrote.
