Jhené Aiko returned last month with a new single, "B's & H's," that was premiered on Soulection's show on Beats 1 radio. Her longtime collaborators The Fisticuffs were named as the producers of the new track, though Clams Casino, who worked with Aiko (as well as The Fisticuffs and Thundercat) on the Souled Out track "W.A.Y.S.," claims the "B's & H's" instrumental is a copy of one of his own beats.
Clams called out Aiko and The Fisticuffs by tagging them both in a Twitter post, in which he wrote, "You guys have no shame about this? At all?"
Aiko quickly responded to his inquiry, and implied that she had no idea what he was referring to.
She then followed up by suggesting that Clams might be "upset" because she "chose another beat" over one of his to sing atop for her new single. Clams then replied to Aiko and alleged that her in-house production team (The Fisticuffs) recreated one of his productions in order to avoid paying the full cost of a Clams Casino beat.
So far, Aiko has had the last word in the back and forth, as she confirmed the track was "reproduced," though she insisted that it was not a replication of anything belonging to Clams. She also noted that the track was put out as a free release, so no profits are being reaped off of the "reproduced" instrumental.

For now, all we have to go off is the word of each artist, so we won't know if there was any plagiarism involved in the making of "B's & H's" until Clams shares a preview of the original instrumental.
Whatever happens, it doesn't seem Clams and Aiko will be working together any time soon.
