Nike can get cultural, too.

As February approaches, Nike has rolled out their annual Black History Month collection. Aside from sneakers, the collection features hats, tees, shorts and hoodies, all themed with this year’s chosen BHM pattern. This year the BHM look features a variety of geometric patterns in what Nike calls a “Pan African-inspired color palette.”

The shoes, though, that’s where this yearly drop gets its buzz. This year Nike has given the BHM treatment to the Lebron 13, KD8, Kyrie 2, Kobe 11, Air Force 1, Nike Air Footscape Magista, and Nike Air Roshe One, NikeCourt Flare, Streak LT 3, Air Jordan 1 Nouveau, AJ1 High (ladies’ only), Magista Obra FG soccer cleat, and Jordan Spike 40. That’s a lot of kicks.

The kicks will be releasing on a staggered schedule beginning now and running through mid-February. The 2016 BHM pattern will also be available for use on NikeID in case you aren’t feeling any of the Nike-designed kicks.

The collection is made in conjunction with and to support Nike’s Ever High Fund, “which was created to bring mentorship, sport and all of its benefits to African American youth.” At Nike is putting their commodification of an important month to good use.

Will you be rocking any of these next month?
