Hold. up. Looks like we're getting a new album from Kendrick Lamar.

UPDATE: The album, untitled unmastered., has landed on Spotify (see above screenshot), but the stream isn't working...yet. Many are expecting the stream to become available at midnight, as was the case with To Pimp a Butterfly. Judging by the album artwork, it doesn't look like anything will change with regard to all the "untitled" tracks, but keep it locked here for more updates.

Original text below:

As if a new joint album from 2 Chainz and Lil Wayne wasn't enough, it has just been revealed that Kendrick Lamar will drop a surprise album tonight, the title of which is untitled unmastered. -- and all of the tracks appear to be just that.

Two days ago, TDE CEO Anthony Tiffith promised that he would be dropping a surprise project from someone in the TDE crew on an unspecified night this week, so, unless he's got something else up his sleeve, this is it. Honestly, we had been expecting music from Schoolboy Q, or maybe Ab-Soul, but untitled unmastered. will do just fine.

It looks like untitled unmastered. is made up of tracks that didn't make it onto Kendrick' last album, To Pimp a Butterfly, as well as the "Untitled" tracks he's been performing on a series of high-profile late-night TV spots, which have been the topic of feverish speculation.

After witnessing Kendrick's performance at the Grammys, during which he performed one of those "Untitled" tracks in question, Tiffith was contacted by none other than LeBron James -- "you have to release those untitled tracks asap," begged the NBA great on Twitter. Just over a week later, TDE has gone ahead and made good on LeBron's request. Fantastic.

The album is now on Spotify, though it can't be streamed just yet. Stay tuned.
